Will DIM cure cancer and AIDS?

Cancer and AIDS are diseases that have claimed the lives of many, and yet there has been no cure that has been formulated that seems to work. While billions of dollars have been spent on research and development to no avail, scientists recently came across a compound known as Diindolylmethane that not only boosts the immune system but also reduces the chances of obtaining prostate and breast cancer.

This compound works in conjunction along with a combination of other compounds such as Sulforaphane and Selenium and that is widely known as the ‘Brassica effect’. The reason for this name is because these compounds are extracted from the Brassica family of vegetables.

While this combination of compounds are currently used in cancer treatment (with moderate success), scientists are also trying to find a way by which DIM can be used to treat other bacterial and viral diseases that have no cure as yet.

However, it does not end there as this compound is currently being used in the preparation of an immune system booster as well that has been released in the market just recently.

And while the progress seems promising to the medical community, thanks to this compound, millions of patients around the world are looking for a complete cure for both cancer and AIDS that has eluded them so far.
